Molly Mathers

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, HCPC

Associate Neurological Physiotherapist - Paediatrics

Molly qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2023 after graduating from the University of Winchester. During her studies, she also worked as an Education and Health Assistant in a special educational needs setting, gaining valuable experience supporting children with a range of additional needs.

Following graduation, Molly joined the North Hampshire Paediatric Community Team, where she supported children with their development and a wide variety of conditions, including neuromuscular disorders, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and other complex needs. Her role included working across two special schools and the wider community, as well as establishing and leading a developmental baby group to support infant handling, early movement, and developmental milestones.

Molly later progressed to the role of Senior Community Paediatric Neurodevelopmental Physiotherapist at the Child Development Centre, Plymouth NHS. Alongside her NHS role, Molly is proud to be part of the Plymouth Neurophysio team, where she provides specialist paediatric physiotherapy for children and young people. Drawing on her extensive experience in neurodevelopmental physiotherapy, she works closely with children and their families to help them achieve their individual goals and maximise their movement, function and independence.

Outside of work, Molly loves spending time outdoors and can usually be found at the beach throughout the summer.
