Becky and Megan from Plymouth Neurophysio had an amazing experience training with the Westcountry Hawks wheelchair rugby team.

Even though Becky had mentioned she doesn't really follow rugby, that didn't stop the team from encouraging her. Both Megan and Becky had such a fun and enjoyable few hours. All physical abilities are welcome, you don't need to be a wheelchair user.

Engaging with such an inclusive and friendly group not only strengthens community bonds but also highlights the importance of accessible sports. Plymouth Neurophysio will most definitely be encouraging our clients to go along and join in or have a chat with the team. Promoting adaptive sports in a fostering supportive environment for all abilities. IMG_1421 WR Megan.PNG

For anyone interested, the Westcountry Hawks meet at the Plymouth Life Centre on Mondays 5-7pm. Its a great opportunity to try something new, stay active and connect with a welcoming community.
