ALFESS device, new for Foot Drop
Here at Plymouth Neurophysio, we are committed to exploring the latest technologies that can benefit our clients. 
We were delighted to host a CPD session with Elaine and Yvonne from Allard UK, introducing us to the innovative ALFESS device. This cutting-edge technology is designed to support individuals suffering with foot drop. The ALFESS device is a lightweight, wireless clip-on strap placed on the lower leg, just below the knee. It delivers targeted electrical stimulation via sensors to the nerves responsible for dorsiflexion (lifting of the foot) during walking, resulting in improved gait pattern.
Our team were thoroughly impressed by the device's simplicity and ease of use. We are excited to announce that Plymouth Neurophysio will now partner with Allard UK to be able to assess and provide this device for clients in the South West region.
